My name is Boo and I’m a Digital Scrapbook Designer. You’ll find me listed as boo6204 in various Digital Scrapbook Forums.
I started out as an accidental scrapper whilst looking for interesting graphics for my childcare business. I stumbled into a world of amazing creativity, wonderful people and was hooked from the get-go. I soon began designing (allbeit badly) and blogging, offering my creations for free and building up a dedicated following of like-minded friends.
I joined Stone Accents Studio when it opened its doors over 4 years ago as a store ct member. I eventually joined the team as a Designer and have been with them ever since. Stone Accents Studio changed ownership and name about a year ago and is now called Digital Scrapbooking Studio. Its a truly wonderful place where Designers and Members share a real sense of community and family.
I’m also delighted to say I’ve been invited to join Sophistiscraps Digital Store. I was amazed to discover that Toni, the lovely owner of Sophistiscraps, is a personal fan of Booland Designs and a girl after my own heart, she loves her ‘bling’, lol. Sophistiscraps is quite different to the Studio in that it offers a more eclectic range of ’styles’ including ‘tagger’ kits so I’m sure that you’ll be able to find exactly what you are looking for at one of my stores.
My style is a little ‘eclectic’ depending on the mood I’m in at the time of creating. I love the fantasy style that is popular at the moment but my own niche tends to fall into the vintage/shabby/romantic style. I do enjoy trying out new styles every now and then so look out for those. You’ll find previews of all my products in the Product Gallery

Whats coming to the NEW BooLand?
- Tutorials – Its our plan to introduce tutorials to BooLand. These will be for Photoshop and will ranage from the very basic beginner to the more advanced scrapper tuts as I work with Photoshop CS3 Extended but there will be links to other Designers Tutorials that include other Graphic Editing Softwear such as PSE and Paint Shop Pro. We hope this will give our wonderful readers plenty of opportunity to learn, create and have fun with Digital Scrapping. Check out the Tutorial Page for more information.
- Interesting Places – This is where you’ll find lots of great Inspirational places of interest that will hopefully encourage your creative juices to flow in abundance. They’ll range from all manner of Digital Scrapping Blogs and Sites to Photagraphy and Hybrid and even some Educational sources for those of you who use Digital Scrapping to create your Home Schooling resources and more. - Hybrid – I’ve noticed more and more the cross over between Digital and Generic Scrapbooking culminating in what we call Hybrid Scrapping, a mix of both genres and its very exciting. Here we hope to explore this style in more depth, offer ideas and tutorials on how to scrap the Hybrid way and suggest resources where you can find even more information on Hybrid Scrapping. - PhotoBooks, Scrap for Hire and Scrap for Others (S4H and S4O) – One of my favourite passtimes is creating PhotoBooks. Not only do I enjoy the whole process of pulling together various papers and elements and fitting them with the person I’m creating the book for but I get so excited when the book finally arrives, complete and gorgeous. Its such a thrill to see it ‘come to life’. This is a service I offer through BooLand at a very competitive price. More about ME…
In the real world I’m an Early Years Educator working with children from birth to 12 years and I work from home. I am mum to three fantastic children, Dan, 27 and in the Army, Mike, 25 also in the Army and Elly, 10 and that vital 1/2 years of age. I’m incredibly proud of them all and count my many blessings that they are all safe, healthy and great fun to be with.
I’m also life partner to Jay, my wonderful Music Man.
