No… not like that. LOL
Revealed, as in getting to know her.
Yesterday, I shared the cool little Badge I.D. Mini made by Claudette, one of Boo’s oldest Blossoms. Not the oldest in years mind you just one of the oldest on the team. While we’re impatiently awaiting the new blog design (which will include an up-to-date Blossoms page) we thought it would be fun to get to know the team members a little better.
Boo has a big support group. You know the saying “It takes a village to raise a child”? Same thing applies with a great designer. Claudette has been part of “the village” since 2007! That’s a long time.
Claudette shared the very first page she made with one of Boo’s kits. Take a look.
I asked Claudette to tell me about her life. Here is what I got.
Married for 12 years to my high-school sweetheart, mom to 5 kids and 3 step-kids. Mimi to 4 of the most awesome grandbabies ever. (You’ll see them all show up regularly in Claudette’s layouts – they’re adorable!)
Work full time as head of marketing/graphics department. (Not at all surprising)
Live in very rural East Texas and loved the times I was stationed in Florida and England. Would most like to visit Australia before I kick the bucket. (Now this is interesting)
Avid photographer and scrapbooker. Working on our family genealogy for 11 years now. (Again, this isn’t a shock. Either one of these often leads to the other)
Began scrapbooking when I was a kid. My mom bought me one of those big 17×11 books full of blank pages and I saved all my mementos from about 5th grade up. (How many of you still HAVE that book your mom gave you? How many of you actually kept it up?)
In about 1992 I learned to rubber stamp and really scrapbook and I became seriously addicted to it. (Hello, my name is Claudette and I’m a scrapbooker)
Then several years later I got a copy of Photoshop Elements and really went nuts for digital scrapping after that. (Claudette is now using the full blown version of CS6 and KNOWS over 80 keyboard short cuts!)
I currently design under the name “Digital Gator Designs” as well as work on the CT for Booland Designs and Plain Digital Wrapper Store. (Go check her out! I grabbed one of her recent kits to show you today. I’m loving all those snowflakes!)
My other hobbies are sewing and gardening. (Where do you find the time?)
You can find me in most galleries by the name “mrscwooddell”
You can find Claudette’s complete photo gallery at the Studio. If you’re looking for some creative inspiration you’ll want to browse through several pages. You can certainly see the “avid photographer” and “addicted to scrapbooking” in her pages. Of course, while you’re there you might want to leave her a little love. She does great work and we’re a better team with her here for sure!
We’ll be taking the day off to load a new collection for release on Saturday. Want a peek? You like? Leave a comment, tell me what your first thought is and on Saturday we’ll be choosing someone to win the matching Stacked Pages.
See you Saturday!

Thanks for telling us all about Claudette! I still have my first paper scrapbook, a 14×14-inch square book loaded with irreplaceable ephemera that I began keeping as a 7th grader. I kept up paper scrapping until I discovered digital scrapping in 2004. Every year since then I do more with digital and less with paper. I have 6 generations of family photos scanned and organized by decade and family name, way more digital kits than I can afford (lol) but (and this is where I am different than Claudette) I dream more than I do. I have 8 albums planned, but only 2 completed and printed. I am trying to make this my year to become accountable and actually get a bunch of unfinished projects done! I use Photoshop CS3, and sure wish I knew 80 keyboard shortcuts!!

Oh, and I think that the sneak peek would be called “Spring Bling”. I like the lace, and the cream and pink pearls that go so well with the flowers and leaves. Thanks for the chance!
