It’s no secret that a picture CAN be worth a thousand words. As I pour over the layouts in galleries I am always amazed at the incredible creativity of people who all share a common goal. The goal to preserve a memory is what brought me to scrapbooking. For others, it was a goal to express their artistic ability (that would be Boo). The more I talk with people who enjoy this as a hobby or a business, the more I realize how this thing we all have in common is the same thing that can set us all apart.
[Bonus Freebie Below]
The Blossoms bring you beautiful inspiration each week. This is a group of ladies from all over the world. They speak different languages. Some are young and some not as young as they used to be. Many of them work full or part time and most of them have a passion that goes hand in hand with their scrapbooking fetish. We are all so different and yet not so different at all. We are moms and grandmas and wives and daughters and in most cases you will rarely find us without a camera close by. We are inspired to photograph landscape, our pets, our children and grandchildren, Christmas trees, decorated porches and sometimes we can’t help but grab a self-portrait.
Once the photos are taken then we go to work on the inspiration for the page or the final project. Some people can just sit down and whip out a masterpiece and others need (or want) a little inspiration which leads me to the question, what inspires YOU to scrap or craft or follow your passion?
This year Boo is going to expand her focus a bit and offer some extra things to help you complete your scrapbook pages. With the next few releases the Blossoms will be focusing on using the tools in Boo’s kits and collections to really make your pages shine without adding extra time to the process. So leave a comment here and let us know what you’d like to see. Have you wondered about those coordinating Page Sprays but you’re just not sure what to do with them?
One Page Spray can not only save you time but really Rock a Page. I made this Stacked Page in about 5 minutes. It includes 2 papers from Boo’s new kit Winter Wonderland and her Page Spray 4. It’s an Extra Freebie for you today and I hope you can pop a photo on and cross it off your list. ![]()

You’re welcome ladies. It is nice to be back and feeling the love LOL. But tell me please what inspires you? I am looking for some inspirational ideas for the new year. What better place to get them than those who use my kits and freebie the most.?

I scrap to flesh out the stories of family members with related ephemera that will make those people’s lives seem more “real” to the ones who follow after us.
Thank you very much, Boo, for your beautiful kits and freebies that make finding ephemera of the past not only easier but also beautiful.

Wow! What a boodle! i’ve missed you, but figured you were extending the Holiday festivities longer. All of your designs are perfect for the way i scrap – which is mostly heritage. i was a journalist for a number of years and had a personal column – since the newspapers were small town papers, i could use the P.C. for about anything. i don’t enjoy writing about politics, so i didn’t – i told some of my family stories that taught me something. i now use those personal columns to journal on facing pages to the photo page. My dad died when i was 22, so my g-kids never knew him, and the oldest of them were very small when my mother died, and oldest two have very faint memories of her, while the youngest three have virtually no memory of her… so, i just wanted you to know that when i want something very special on a page, i look in your folders…
